USES: Sulfur is used in manufacturing of sulfuric acid, carbon disulfide, sulfites, insecticides,plastics, enamels, vulcanizing rubber. It is also used in synthesis of dyes, making gun powder, matches and for bleaching wood, pulp, straw, wool, silk and felt liners.

HANDLING: Low human toxicity ?avoid inhalation. Can cause skin irritation and effect mucous membranes. Sulfur dust ignites easily. Mixtures with chlorates, nitrates or other yellow label oxidizing agents may be explosive. Since no exposure limit has been established by OSHA and ACGIH, we recommend that our product be treated as a nuisance dust 15mg/m3. See the MSDS for more information.
